Welcome to PeerLink. By creating an account, continuing as a guest, or using PeerLink on the web or on a phone, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use PeerLink.
1. Device permissions
PeerLink asks to use these features of your phone, tablet or computer. Each one is used only for the purpose given. The full explanation is in our Privacy Policy.
- Camera: video calls, photos, stories, posts and live video.
- Microphone: calls, voice messages and live video.
- Location: your country and approximate area, and your exact location only if you share it.
- Contacts: only when you tap Sync Contacts, to find friends who use PeerLink.
- Storage: saving and sending photos, files and voice messages, and keeping your chats on your device.
- SMS codes: filling in your 6-digit verification code. We cannot read your other text messages.
- Nearby devices: linking with people close to you when the internet is weak or gone.
- Bluetooth: sending call sound to headsets, and linking with people close to you.
- Wi-Fi and network state: adjusting call quality and keeping a call going when you switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Hotspot: recognising a hotspot or shared local network.
- Notifications: ringing for calls and showing message alerts when the app is closed.
You can refuse or turn off any permission at any time. Some features will then stop working.
2. Your account, guests and inactivity
- Account: you give true details, verify your e-mail address and/or phone number with a 6-digit code, and set a strong password. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share your password.
- Forgot your password? Ask for a 6-digit reset code on the sign-in screen.
- Verified accounts: removed after 6 months (180 days) without use. Every sign-in restarts the clock.
- Accounts that never finished verification: removed after 30 days without use.
- Guest sessions: temporary access with no e-mail or phone number. A guest session lasts a limited time (30 minutes unless we change it) and is erased when the time ends. Create an account to keep your chats.
- Age: you must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it.
3. Calls, live video and recording
- Voice and video calls are encrypted. During a call you can switch from voice to video, or share your screen, at any time.
- Calls and live video connect devices directly with each other when possible. The people you are connected with may be able to see your network address, and while you watch a live video your device may help pass it to other viewers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- Call recorder: if you record a call, the recording is saved on your own device. You are responsible for telling the other person and for following the law where you live.
- Quality can change with your connection. We cannot promise that every call will connect.
4. Community safety
- Do not use PeerLink for spam, harassment, impersonation, fraud, hate, sexual content involving minors, or anything unlawful.
- You can Block or Report anyone from their contact card. Blocking stops messages and calls both ways.
- An account that gets repeated abuse reports is frozen automatically for 5 days while Support checks it, and may be closed for serious breaches.
- You keep the rights to what you share, and you allow PeerLink to store and show it as needed to run the service. Do not share what you have no right to share.
5. Support
- Open Profile or Settings → Contact Support to ask a question, get account help or appeal a decision. You can also use our Contact page.
6. Posts & Creator Reward
- Posts disappear. Posts and their photos are erased automatically a set number of hours after you publish them (shown on each post). You can delete your own post at any time. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, sexual, or that you do not have the right to share. Support may hide or remove posts.
- Creator Reward. When signed-in people keep your post on screen for a few seconds, that counts as one qualified view. Creator Reward is paid per 1,000 qualified views at a rate shown in the app. The rate can change and rewards are not guaranteed income.
- Fair use. Your own views, repeated views, bought or automated views, and views from fake accounts never count. Support may pause Creator Reward, remove earnings, or close an account that breaks these rules.
- Hold and payout. New earnings stay pending for a hold period, then become available. You can withdraw once your available balance reaches the minimum shown in the app. Payouts are sent by Support to the payout method you save (for example bKash, Nagad, Rocket, bank, mobile recharge or Payoneer), usually once a month. We may ask you to verify your identity before a large payout. You are responsible for any tax that applies to your earnings.
- No wallet. PeerLink does not hold money that you pay in. Creator Reward is a balance of rewards you earned, not a bank account.
7. Advertising on PeerLink
- Ads. PeerLink shows ads labelled "Sponsored" between posts in the Updates tab. Viewing or clicking an ad never earns money, coins or rewards for anyone, including the advertiser. Ad views and clicks never count toward Creator Reward.
- Fake views and clicks. Clicking your own ad, asking others to click or view it, using bots, scripts, VPN or proxy tricks or fake accounts to create views or clicks is forbidden. Such views and clicks are not counted or billed, and Support may stop the ad and close the account.
- Who can advertise. Any signed-in person can submit an ad from Profile → Advertise on PeerLink. Every ad is reviewed by Support and starts only after your payment has been checked and confirmed. Ads are billed per 1,000 views (CPM) at the price shown in the app; clicks are free. When the budget is used up, the ad stops. You can pause and resume your ad and add budget; you cannot delete an ad.
- Prohibited ads. Ads for fraud or scams, gambling, betting, casinos and lotteries, and adult or sexual content are not allowed. Also not allowed: illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs, fake or misleading claims, hate, malware, and anything that copies another brand. Support decides whether an ad follows these rules.
- No refund for rule breaking. If an ad breaks these rules, Support stops it immediately and the unused budget is not refunded. Payments are for advertising services, not a deposit or a wallet, and PeerLink does not hold money for you. Refunds in any other case are decided by Support and are never automatic.
- Records are kept. Ad content, pictures and videos, payments, billing and delivery records are stored on our own server and kept permanently for accounting, disputes and fraud checks, even after an ad ends or an account is deleted.
- Reporting ads. You can report any ad with the Report button. Several reports pause the ad until Support has checked it.
8. Using PeerLink fairly
- Do not try to break, overload, scan or get into PeerLink, other people's accounts or our servers, and do not copy or resell the service.
- We may change, pause or stop features, and we may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
9. Our responsibility
- PeerLink is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and safe, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free.
- As far as the law allows, PeerLink is not responsible for loss caused by things outside our control, such as internet or phone-network problems, or for what other users do.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using PeerLink after a change means you accept it. Questions? Open Settings → Contact Support or visit our Contact page.
